Set within Ravenswood Industrial Estate, the Malt Haus has the easygoing feel of an independent neighbourhood bar and social space, with draught lager, craft beer, cocktails and simple bar snacks. There is no fixed kitchen in the taproom; instead, Pillars regularly works with rotating street-food vendors and local pop-ups.
Across two Friday afternoon sessions, Alex from Fashioned Flowers will show you how to build and decorate your own natural Christmas wreath from scratch using a generous selection of seasonal foliage, textured ingredients and festive details. No previous floristry experience is needed: Alex will demonstrate each stage, help with the practical techniques and be on hand throughout while you make the design your own.
Tickets are £65 per person and include all wreath-making materials and tools, step-by-step floristry guidance, a welcome alcoholic or soft drink from the workshop selection, and a mince pie from Fashioned Flowers to add to the festive mood.

The first Friday of December is a lovely point to make your Christmas wreath: plenty of time to enjoy it at home throughout the festive season, with the Malt Haus bar open after the workshop if you would like to stay on.
The Malt Haus is part of Pillars Brewery and serves draught lagers alongside a wider selection of independent beers, whiskey, cocktails and soft drinks. Simple bar snacks such as crisps and nuts are available, but there is no fixed food menu inside the taproom. Your workshop ticket includes one welcome alcoholic or soft drink from the workshop selection, and Fashioned Flowers will be bringing mince pies for guests to enjoy while they work.
Pillars also works with rotating street-food vendors and local pop-ups at different times, so there may occasionally be additional food available, but this should not be relied on as part of the workshop. Additional drinks can be purchased directly from the bar.

Walthamstow Central is around a 10-minute walk away and is served by the Victoria line and London Overground. Wood Street station is also around a 10-minute walk away. Walthamstow Village is only a couple of minutes from the estate.
