Your Christmas Wreath Workshop
Start the Christmas season with a relaxed Friday afternoon of wreath making at the Malt Haus at Pillars Brewery in Walthamstow.
Alex from Fashioned Flowers will guide you through creating your own natural Christmas wreath from scratch, using seasonal foliage, texture and festive decorative details. You do not need any floristry experience: the workshop is designed to be sociable and unhurried, with plenty of hands-on help whenever you need it.
Your £65 ticket includes all materials and tools, step-by-step tuition, a welcome alcoholic or soft drink from the workshop selection, and a mince pie. At the end of the session, your finished wreath is yours to take home and enjoy throughout Christmas.

What You’ll Make
You will create a full natural Christmas wreath with a layered, abundant feel, working with seasonal evergreen foliage and a selection of textural and decorative ingredients.
Alex will demonstrate how to build the shape, secure your materials and balance the finished design, while leaving plenty of room for your wreath to feel individual.

AT THE VENUE
Food, Drink & the Malt Haus
The Malt Haus is Pillars Brewery’s independent taproom and social space. Expect draught lager and craft beer alongside cocktails, whiskey, soft drinks and simple bar snacks such as crisps and nuts.
There is no fixed kitchen menu in the taproom, although rotating street-food vendors and local pop-ups sometimes visit. Fashioned Flowers will be bringing mince pies for the workshop.
Your first workshop drink is included in your ticket; additional drinks can be ordered directly from the bar.

Getting There
Malt Haus at Pillars Brewery, Unit 7 Ravenswood Industrial Estate, Shernhall Street, Walthamstow, London E17 9HQ.
Walthamstow Central and Wood Street stations are both around a 10-minute walk away.
The estate can be accessed by car from Summit Road or Shernhall Street; please check local parking restrictions when you arrive.

A Few Useful Questions
Do I need floristry experience?
Not at all. Alex will demonstrate the process from the beginning and will be available throughout the workshop to help with techniques, mechanics and the finishing touches.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. All of the tools and materials needed to make your wreath are provided.
What if I don’t drink alcohol?
A soft-drink option is available as part of the included welcome drink.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. The workshops are relaxed and sociable, and you are very welcome to book a place on your own.
