Your Christmas Wreath Workshop
Spend the first Friday of December making your own Christmas wreath at the Malt Haus at Pillars Brewery in Walthamstow.
Over a relaxed two-and-a-half-hour session, Alex from Fashioned Flowers will guide you through building and decorating a natural wreath using seasonal foliage and festive details. It is completely beginner-friendly, with demonstrations at each stage and help on hand while you work.
Your £65 ticket includes all wreath-making materials and tools, a welcome alcoholic or soft drink from the workshop selection and a mince pie. You will leave with a finished wreath ready to hang on your door for the rest of the Christmas season.

What You’ll Make
You will create a full natural Christmas wreath with a layered, abundant feel, working with seasonal evergreen foliage and a selection of textural and decorative ingredients.
Alex will demonstrate how to build the shape, secure your materials and balance the finished design, while leaving plenty of room for your wreath to feel individual.

AT THE VENUE
Food, Drink & Staying On
The Malt Haus serves draught lagers and independent beers alongside whiskey, cocktails, soft drinks and simple bar snacks such as crisps and nuts.
There is no fixed kitchen menu in the taproom, although Pillars regularly partners with rotating street-food vendors and local pop-ups. Fashioned Flowers will be bringing mince pies for the workshop.
Your first workshop drink is included in your ticket and the bar remains open afterwards, so you are very welcome to stay for another drink.

Getting There
Malt Haus at Pillars Brewery, Unit 7 Ravenswood Industrial Estate, Shernhall Street, Walthamstow, London E17 9HQ.
Walthamstow Central and Wood Street stations are both around a 10-minute walk away.
The estate can be accessed by car from Summit Road or Shernhall Street; please check local parking restrictions when you arrive.

A Few Useful Questions
Do I need floristry experience?
No. The workshop starts from the beginning and Alex will guide you through every stage.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. All materials and tools are supplied.
Is there a non-alcoholic option?
Yes. A soft drink can be chosen instead of an alcoholic welcome drink.
Can I stay at the Malt Haus afterwards?
Yes. The bar remains open after the workshop, so you are welcome to stay and make more of your Friday evening.
