A Christmas wreath workshop designed around real life with a baby: relaxed, daytime and with plenty of room to pause when you need to.
Join Fashioned Flowers at Vino Tap in Highams Park for a three-hour Mum & Baby session where Alex will guide you through creating your own natural Christmas wreath from scratch.
There is no need to keep pace with the room or worry if feeding, changing or settling your baby interrupts your wreath for a while — the session is deliberately structured to feel flexible and unhurried.
Vino Tap already hosts regular Bring Your Baby afternoons, making its intimate, friendly setting a natural fit for the workshop.
The session is deliberately small, with just 9 spaces available. Bringing your baby in a sling or carrier is strongly encouraged where possible, as this will give you the most comfortable setup while you are working on your wreath.
There will also be a covered buggy/pram park outside, an easy changing area and a play mat available if needed.
Younger babies who are happy in a sling or carrier are likely to find the setup particularly easy, but mums with babies of different ages are very welcome.
Your £65 ticket includes all wreath-making materials and tools, step-by-step support from Alex, and your choice of a 125ml glass of fizz, a small glass of house red or white wine, a soft drink, a non-alcoholic beer or a Botivo mocktail.

What You’ll Make
You will make a full natural Christmas wreath using seasonal evergreen foliage, texture and decorative details.
Alex will demonstrate each stage and help you with the mechanics, shape and finishing touches, while leaving you free to make the design your own.

Vino Tap offers a broad selection of wines by the glass and bottle, craft beer, low-and-no choices and wine-based cocktails, with simple snacks, artisan cheese and charcuterie also available to buy.

The venue is a few minutes’ walk from Highams Park station on the Weaver line.
The 212, W16 and 275 serve the station area.
If you are driving, the paid Highams Park Station Car Park at E4 9LA is also a short walk away.

Mum & Baby FAQs
Can I bring my baby to the workshop?
Yes — that is exactly what this session is designed for. The format is deliberately relaxed so you can make your wreath with your baby alongside you.
What if I need to feed, change or settle my baby?
Please do whatever you and your baby need. You can pause at any point and rejoin when you are ready; Alex will help you pick up from where you left off.
Is there baby changing?
Yes. Baby-changing facilities will be available for the workshop.
Is there somewhere for my buggy or pram?
Yes. A secure, covered buggy/pram park will be available outside the venue so the workshop space can remain comfortable to move around.
Will there be anywhere for babies or toddlers to sit and play?
Playmats will be available for little ones who want some floor time during the session.
Can I come on my own with my baby?
Absolutely. You do not need to come as part of a group — the session is intended to feel friendly and sociable for parents attending on their own as well as with friends.
Do I need any floristry experience?
No. Alex will demonstrate the process step by step and help throughout.
What if I don’t want an alcoholic drink?
You can choose a soft drink, a non-alcoholic beer or a Botivo mocktail instead of wine or fizz.

If you are part of an NCT group or another group of parents who would like to attend together, please get in touch before booking a large number of places on the public session.
We would much rather work with you and Vino Tap to explore an additional private Mum & Baby date for your group, with its own dedicated booking page where appropriate.
