Creative Workshops at Vino Tap

This Christmas, Fashioned Flowers is bringing wreath making to Vino Tap, the intimate independent wine bar and shop at Vinoramica in the heart of Highams Park.

Family-run and deliberately relaxed, Vino Tap has built a reputation locally for making wine feel sociable rather than stuffy. The bar hosts tastings, food pop-ups and regular Bring Your Baby afternoons, with a cosy back-room setting that makes a particularly good home for a small, creative workshop.

Alex from Fashioned Flowers will guide you through creating a natural Christmas wreath from scratch using seasonal foliage, textural ingredients and festive decorative details. You will learn the practical floristry techniques as you go, with plenty of individual support and freedom to make the finished wreath feel like your own.

There are two Highams Park sessions to choose from: a relaxed daytime Mum & Baby workshop on Wednesday 2nd December and a Saturday Wreath & Wine session on 5th December. Every session is £65 per person and includes all materials, tools, tuition and one drink.

Mum & Baby Christmas Wreath Making · £65 per person

A deliberately small and relaxed Mum & Baby session with just 9 spaces available. Bringing your baby in a sling or carrier is strongly encouraged where possible, as this gives you the most comfortable setup while you work on your wreath.

There will also be an easy baby-changing area, a play mat if needed and a secure covered buggy/pram park outside. There is plenty of flexibility if you need to feed, settle or tend to your little one.

Your ticket includes a 125ml glass of fizz, a small glass of house red or white wine, a soft drink, a non-alcoholic beer or a Botivo mocktail.

Food & Drink at Vino Tap

Wine is naturally at the heart of Vino Tap. The bar keeps a changing selection of wines available by the glass and bottle, alongside craft beers, low-and-no options and wine-based cocktails. There is also a simple bar-food selection including snacks, artisan cheese and charcuterie.

One drink is included with every Fashioned Flowers workshop at Vino Tap: choose a 125ml glass of fizz, a small glass of house red or white wine, a soft drink, a non-alcoholic beer or a Botivo mocktail. Any additional drinks or snacks can be purchased directly from the bar.

Getting There

Vino Tap is at 2A Winchester Road, Highams Park, London E4 9LN, only a few minutes’ walk from Highams Park station.

By train

Highams Park is on the London Overground Weaver line, with direct services to and from Liverpool Street and easy connections at Walthamstow Central.

By bus

The 212, W16 and 275 all serve the Highams Park station area.

By car

Highams Park Station Car Park is at Station Approach / The Avenue, E4 9LA, a short walk from Vino Tap. It is a paid, first-come-first-served car park and is open 24 hours.
