Your Christmas Wreath Workshop
Spend a festive Wednesday evening making your own Christmas wreath at The Royal Forest on the edge of Epping Forest in Chingford.
The restored historic pub is a natural setting for a workshop filled with evergreen foliage. Over two and a half hours, Alex from Fashioned Flowers will guide you through building and decorating a full natural wreath, from the first layers of foliage to the final details.
Your £65 ticket includes all materials and tools, step-by-step floristry guidance and one mulled wine or hot chocolate.
No previous experience is needed — just come ready for a creative evening and leave with a wreath ready to hang at home.

What You’ll Make
Using seasonal evergreen foliage and a selection of textural and festive details, you will build a generous natural wreath from scratch.
Alex will teach the mechanics and design principles involved, then help you adjust the shape, texture and finishing touches to suit your own style.

AT THE VENUE
Food, Drink & Making an Evening of It
The Royal Forest has a full seasonal pub and restaurant menu alongside wine, beer, cocktails, spritzes, mocktails and soft drinks.
Your mulled wine or hot chocolate is included with the workshop, while additional food and drinks can be ordered directly from the venue.
The kitchen is open until 9:45pm on Wednesdays, so you can eat before the workshop or stay for something afterwards if you want to make a fuller evening of it.

Getting There
The Royal Forest, 4 Ranger’s Road, Chingford, London E4 7QH.
Chingford station is around an eight-minute walk away on the Weaver line.
The pub also has a large on-site car park.
If you drive, remember to register your vehicle inside when you arrive.

A Few Useful Questions
Do I need any floristry experience?
No. The workshop is suitable for beginners and Alex will demonstrate every stage.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. All wreath-making materials and tools are provided.
What if I don’t drink alcohol?
Hot chocolate is included as the non-alcoholic alternative to mulled wine.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. You are very welcome to book a place individually.
Can I eat at The Royal Forest?
Yes. The venue has a full food menu and the kitchen remains open until 9:45pm on Wednesdays.
