Flower Care Tips

How to keep your blooms beautiful

Your bouquet has been hand-crafted with the freshest seasonal stems. Here is how to ensure they thrive:

1. The First Cut

Before placing your bouquet in a vase, trim about 2cm off each stem at a 45-degree angle. This opens up the "straws" of the flowers so they can drink immediately.

2. The Mimosa Trick

The fluffy yellow Mimosa is beautiful but thirsty. If it starts to look a little "flat," give the stems a fresh snip and place them in lukewarm (not cold) water. The warmth helps the blooms stay puffy and vibrant.

3. Taming the Tulips

Did you know Tulips continue to grow once they are in water? If they start to "dance" out of the arrangement, simply give them a slightly deeper trim to bring them back into line with the rest of the bouquet.

4. Refresh & Revive

Change the water every 2 days. Flowers hate "bacterial soup"!

Keep them cool. Avoid placing your bouquet in direct sunlight, near radiators, or next to the fruit bowl (ripening fruit releases gas that makes flowers wilt faster).

Remove low leaves. Ensure no foliage is sitting below the waterline in your vase.
